The Dubai International Holy Quran Award is sponsored by H.H. Shk. Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is given each year to people who memorize and recite the Quran. The Award was established to encourage young Muslims to memorize and understand the Holy Quran, and to spread the Quranic values of peace and love.

Located in Mamzar in Dubai, Dubai Holy Quran Building will be one of the city’s most symbolically important new projects. The building is conceived in response to the city’s rapidly growing population and limited facilities of such type. The design is traditional, offering an image of dignity, transparency, and openness.

The building has lots of antique and delicate Rugs and photo frames which are meant to be preserved in a proper display manner. Thus the initial idea arose for creating a space to display Rugs and Frames inside the Holy Quran building. The design consists of display units for photo frames and rug units for Rugs

Each room comprises rugs and larger frames, which are attached to the wall, and also the bigger rugs are provided with separate units. The interior planning has a wide Islamic ornamental touch that enhances the complete space.
